Eyeliner Update

Just about everyday for the last week or so, I've been playing around with different eyeliners. Updates on my experiments thus far:

1) L'Oreal Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Eyeliner - Returned both the Defining Cocoa and Defining Slate. Just too annoying to use in the mornings and didn't give enough definition for the amount of time I spent applying it.

2) Wet 'n' Wild Mega Liner (Dark Brown) - Still like this for the color, definition, and price, although the brush is also starting to get to me. I may need to trim it with manicure scissors.

3) Prestige Hi-Definition Fluid Eyeliner Stylist (Black and Brown) - Have barely used the Brown which I keep in my bag since the Wet 'n' Wild has been staying put all day. Attempted a few touch ups one day just to use it more and felt that perhaps the felt tip is a little to thin. That, or I need to stop being such a baby and use a heavier hand.

4) L'Oreal Le Kohl Eyeliner (Le Plum) - I've had good experiences with the Onyx and Black Sable (check out my thoughts on those here) and since this was on sale and I find wine/plum/violet liner shades interesting, I decided to give it a try. It doesn't go on as smooth as the other colors, and it definitely shows up as an interesting reddish blue instead of the deep wine or black violet I was hoping for. Worth a few more experiments though - perhaps the pencil needs to be warmed up more before I use it. Not sure I would get it again at its full price. Ever more tempted to try the Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Violet.

5) Jane Be Pure Mineral Gel Eyeliner - Definitely time-consuming, and some of the liner keeps getting on my lashes. I'm going to try applying this differently (so I can see my lash line better) and see if that makes things easier. But definitely very long-lasting, and gives a very natural, defined look. Once I get the hang of it, I may repurchase, especially at this price.
